Shadow's Of Macbeth
For our macbeth project we had a life changing experience for I think everybody. We learned some communication skills and tested our 21st century skills. My role was the second biggest because we were in charge of all of the puppets and keeping them mostly together. Also we had work groups for reading which was really fun because we got to hear others think process, and how different they were from ours.
I know I connected in a way that was different for connections at schools. Mine was a wow this is really kind of fun feeling and now I'm considering joining acting. What I really liked about this project was the communication because everybody got to have a say. This really made me feel at home and closer to people because all of different thought process. I think the best moment was when the crowd stood up and applauded at that moment my hear jumped to another state. Before I was feeling out of it but when I herd the crowd clap I felt really good and really thought about joining the next show's play and feel that feeling once more.
This project was difficult because it put a lot of stress on me and I just feel bad and when that much stress is put on. When i'm all stressed out i don't do as well in school and start to slack but now that it is over i'm like whew. I think the most challenging was just cutting out the shadow puppets and gluing them on sticks and adding on the arms and legs. But I think the hardest moment was when I felt sick and I had to make a shadow puppet, record a scene and shadow puppet on stage. that day was so hard because I just did not want to work and that tested out my perseverance. Which had me at the throat for the rest of the period.
I learned that their is more to me than a jock and nerd. Their is a person that has so much to say that could really change the conversation. Also I learned that their is a leader to that has come out in math mostly just by helping people understand what is hard in shadow puppets and algebraic questions. But under all of this their is a actor but I don't want to a big actor just one that can really change the play and bring some new things to the table. Wow that is one changed life right there.
The way I would answer this question is that Shakespeare can open up different parts of the mind. Also lets the people who want to act really stand out in the crowd. Therefor Macbeth will always be remembered as a corrupted life of a 40 year old king and how one decision can ruin the pride in his life.
